Flex Cable
FPC is short for Flexible Printed Circuit..Also called soft flex cable.It is light,and thin.
It’s normally used for mobile phone,laptop, MP3, MP4, mini CD player, VCD,DVD, batrtery, PDA, digital camera and so on.
Features for mobile phone flex cables.
1,Bending,folding,Winding freely.
2, Thermal Performance well, can narrow the space by F-PC
3,It’s light, small and thin.
FPC also called Soft Flex Cable, Flat Cable, Flexible Pinted Circuit.
PCB also called Hard Board.
LCD
LCD is short for Liquid Crystal Display.
Advantage for LCD: small space, low radiation, no flash, lower visual fatigue
Shortage for LCD: a little more expensive, and a little easier to be damaged.
Usage for LCD: mobile phone, laptop, computer, digital camera, MP3, MP4, Audio player, watch and so on.
Basic Parameters for LCD
Levels of LCD color: single color, 256 level, 4096 level, 6.5m level, 26m level….
Type of LCD: TFT>TFD>UFB>CSTN>STN>single color.
Resolution of LCD: 1.9 inch, 2.1 inch, 2.4 inch and so on.
Notes for LCD
1,Check the flex cable of LCD, to make sure weather the flex, connector, clip, light, others small parts broken or not.
2,Check the glass of the LCD, to make sure weather the LCD liquid out, angle broken. Check the glass if scratched.
If the LCD not work, please check below.
Wrong version, lack of small parts, small parts broken(like IC, connector, and so on)
If the LCD display fuzzy, please check below.
No enough energy, bad glass, Polaroid not installed well, contrast light not set well,.
If the LCD display have line, please check below
IC if broken, glass if broken, flex if broken.
Bad pixels normally show white dot, black dot, color dot, light dot.
A good LCD display uniform, no line, no black, no flash…
A bad LCD display dark light, back color, or wrong version.
